NOTICE!!!   Many parameters have short holding times which may rule out shipping as an option.  Please contact the laboratory to review your scope of work prior to shipping any samples and to make sure you have the proper containers..

 

These guidelines do not address proper packaging or restrictions on shipping particular materials or liquids.  Please consult you your shipping service for instructions on these matters.

Samples delivered to the laboratory by the client will be thoroughly inspected according to the laboratories sample acceptance criteria.  If the sample does not conform to the acceptance criteria the appropriate qualifier will be attached to the sample results.  If samples arrive at the laboratory on ice and the samples were collected within two hours the sample should not be marked as out of compliance with the acceptance policy in regards to temperature.  Samples should be delivered to the laboratory before the holding time is met.

Eastex Environmental will provide bottles for all analysis contracted with the laboratory.  A listing of the bottles, preservatives, and holding times are listed in the Sample Acceptance Criteria.
