How do I get started with Eastex?

Call us at 1-800-525-0508 or send us a message. We'll set up your account, discuss your testing requirements, and determine whether you need sample pickup or if you'll be submitting samples directly. Most new accounts are up and running within a few days.

What are your turnaround times?

Standard turnaround varies by test type, but most routine water and wastewater parameters are reported within 5-10 business days of sample receipt. Some parameters have shorter hold times that require faster processing. We'll confirm expected turnaround when you set up your account.

How do I submit samples?

There are several options:

  • Field service pickup — Our field techs collect samples on scheduled routes across our service area. We provide bottles and handle chain of custody.
  • Drop-off — Bring samples to any of our four locations (Coldspring, Nacogdoches, Katy, Austin) during business hours.
  • Courier/shipping — We can arrange courier pickup or you can ship samples to our lab. We provide containers and preservation materials.

We provide all sample containers, preservation materials, coolers, and chain of custody forms. Learn more about field services.

How do I access my results?

Results are available through our online client portal at eastexecc.promium.com. You can view reports, download data, and check sample status from anywhere with an internet connection. Call us to set up your portal access.

Do you report results directly to TCEQ?

Yes. We submit drinking water data, total coliform results, and DMR data electronically to TCEQ on your behalf. We verify that the state received the data so you don't have to follow up. Learn more about our compliance services.

What accreditations does Eastex hold?

We are NELAP/TNI accredited by TCEQ (continuously since 2007), TCEQ Drinking Water approved, EPA UCMR 5 approved, and HUB certified. View all accreditations.

Do you offer PFAS testing?

Yes. We perform PFAS analysis using EPA Method 533 and EPA Method 537.1. Federal regulations require all public water systems to complete PFAS monitoring by 2027, with full compliance by 2029. Learn more about PFAS testing.

What areas do you serve?

We operate from four locations across Texas: Coldspring (headquarters), Nacogdoches, Katy (Houston metro), and Austin. Our field service routes cover East Texas, Greater Houston, the Golden Triangle, Deep East Texas, and Central Texas. Not sure if you're in our area? Contact us and we'll work it out.

Do you provide sample bottles?

Yes. We provide all required sample containers, preservatives, and chain of custody forms at no additional charge. Bottles are pre-labeled and ready for collection. We can ship them to you or have a field tech deliver them.

Can you help with compliance questions?

Absolutely. We operate in both an advisory and analytical capacity. If you have questions about which parameters your permit requires, when monitoring is due, or how a new regulation affects your operations, call us.
